Thirard : Export

Thirard is a family business which was established in 1920 by Fernand Thirard, in Picardy.
After specializing in the manufacture of padlocks for several decades, this company has then
experienced a continuous development marked by three milestones :
• From 1965, the manufacture of brass padlocks is started up according to high quality requirements
• In 1975, production is diversified with the manufacture of the first models of safety bolts.
• In 1985, Thirard Co. manufactures its first locks.
Since then, a large variety of products - such as high safety bolts and multipoint locks to fit or out of bracket,
admitted in the A2P brand, NF stamped locks, high safety shaped cylinders with patented keys (all rights reserved), accessories and door fittings - has been introduced on the market. Thirard now has a complete offer in the safety door sector, which enables this company to be one of the most influential actors on this market : it has a leading place with the distribution industry while being very present in the building industry, the safety lock industry, the luxury industry and on the export markets.
